Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Jurably when you use our platform to get documents signed, notarized, filed, and recorded.
Effective July 3, 2026
Notice: This document is a working template provided for placeholder purposes and has not yet been finalized by legal counsel. Read it in full before using Jurably. If any term is unclear, contact us at jurably.com/contact before you place an order.
1. What Jurably is — and is not
Jurably operates a self-help document platform for real-estate investors and consumers. We provide technology and administrative services that help you get documents you have selected, completed, and signed notarized, transmitted, filed, and recorded.
Jurably is not a law firm, an attorney, or a title company, and we do not provide legal advice. We do not prepare, draft, review, or advise you on the content of your documents, and no communication with us creates an attorney–client relationship. You are responsible for choosing your documents, deciding whether they are appropriate for your situation, and confirming that every field is accurate. If you need legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Jurably. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.
3. Your responsibilities
By using Jurably, you represent and agree that:
- The documents and information you submit are true, accurate, and lawfully yours to submit — including that any purchase contract you upload for a Memorandum Filing is a genuine, already-executed agreement.
- You have selected the document and confirmed it is appropriate for your intended use; Jurably has not advised you to file, record, or notarize anything.
- You will verify every field — parties, legal description, address, dates, and mailing addresses — before authorizing a filing.
- You will not use the platform to harass, defraud, cloud title in bad faith, pressure a party, or otherwise act unlawfully.
- You are responsible for all government recording fees, taxes, and third-party charges that apply to your order, whether itemized or estimated at checkout.
You are solely responsible for the legal effect and consequences of any document you choose to notarize, file, or record through Jurably.
4. Fees and payment
Prices for our services are shown at jurably.com/pricing and at checkout. Our fees are ministerial and itemized — recording, certified mail, notary, and handling — and never a charge for preparing or advising on a document. Government and third-party fees are passed through and may vary by county or vendor; where an exact amount is not known in advance, it may be estimated and reconciled after filing. Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable once a filing or recording has been submitted to a county or vendor.
5. No guarantee of outcome
Jurably provides administrative and technology services on a reasonable-efforts basis. County offices, notaries, mail carriers, and other third parties control their own timelines, acceptance criteria, and outcomes. We do not and cannot guarantee that any document will be accepted, recorded, delivered, or produce any particular legal or commercial result. Turnaround times and coverage areas are estimates, not promises.
6. Third-party services
Delivering your order may involve independent third parties, including online and mobile notaries, certified-mail and courier providers, county recording offices, and payment processors. Those parties operate under their own terms, and Jurably is not responsible for their acts, omissions, fees, or delays.
7. Intellectual property and license
The Jurably platform, brand, and content are owned by Jurably and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the documents and information you submit, and you grant Jurably the rights needed to process, transmit, notarize, file, and record them on your instruction.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The platform and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jurably and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or damages arising from a document's legal effect. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid to Jurably for the order giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jurably and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your documents, your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
11. Dispute resolution and arbitration
[Placeholder — to be finalized with counsel.] The parties intend that most disputes relating to these terms or the services will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and that claims will be brought only in an individual capacity and not as part of any class or representative proceeding. The final arbitration provision, including the administering body, rules, venue, fee allocation, and any small-claims or opt-out rights, will be specified here before these terms take effect. Nothing in this section limits any right that cannot be waived under applicable law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law
[Placeholder.] These terms will be governed by the laws of the state to be designated by Jurably, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where preempted by federal law such as the Federal Arbitration Act.
